CPR is a socially and environmentally responsible firm with the mission of creating a clean environment, by addressing the growing electronic waste conditions we face today. This is achieved by keeping electronic components running efficiently through our computer repair and support services, using recycled material, and by educating our clients by providing environmentally friendly tips.

CPR gives individuals and businesses the opportunity to reduce their electronic waste footprint while learning more about the e-waste crisis via the READ Blog. CPR's repair and support specialists aim to extend the life of computers for homes and businesses, while ensuring that end-of-life units are recycled securely and responsibly in Hawaii.

Our IT specialists provide in-shop, remote, and on-site technical support services that increase office efficiency through computer optimization, network mapping and maintenance, system updates, standardization, data management, etc.

  • Reuse Service

CPR is able to repair and reuse approximately 40% of all computer components donated by our residential and business clients, for in-shop use. These items are then used for diagnostics purposes.

Discarded or donated computers, media disks are the primary source of information for identity thieves. These items should not be viewed as trash, but rather as sources of confidential data.

The Federal Trade Commission estimates that about 9,000,000 americans are victims of identity theft per year. A number of these cases will occur as a result of inadequate or improper data disposal.

The great majority of US recycling companies will ship electronic waste overseas. Identity thieves are able to buy and fish though thousands of hard drives and media disks at a time in order to pull social security numbers, passport photos and addresses to create new identities, birth certificates, online passwords, bank account information, credit cards, take out loans and empty bank accounts.
